I'm doing this project for a friend and she made a request that I don't know how to produce. She wants an 8×10 photo (Horizontal) with 3 photos in one. Simple really. BUT she wants the center photo only to have a football as the border and the photo inside of it. I've looked online and can't seem to find anything helpful. Any ideas?
Acidantheras: I thought about doing it that way but I guess she wants a more "cartoonish" or drawn football? Like the ones that you see on the cheesy sport package photographs. I didn't know if there was an instant fix. I appreciate your help and I will try doing it that way. Thank you!!

I think what you are saying is that you want one football with the picture in the middle of it and then two other pictures on the sides. Is that correct?

If that's the case, find a picture of a football (I found several really nice photos and vectors at www.istockphoto.com, but you'll have to pay for them. They can be as little as $1 each, but you have to start with something like a $12 credit. You may be able to find something else for free, but I couldn't find any right away.). You'll have several layers you are working with in the final picture, but add the football as a layer after you re-size it to the correct dimensions. Maybe even add a drop shadow for effect. If your final picture has a background, you will need to crop out the football from its background using your favorite method (lasso, extract, etc.).

Add a border to the picture that will go on the middle (like a small white border), re-size it, and add it as another layer. You can move it around until it's in the correct position. Then flatten when you are all done.

i've never washed a baseball cap before and i want to wash my friends'. i don't want to ruin it because it's not mine. i heard of those hat shaper things you can buy before you put it in the dishwasher, but the shape won't work for his hat because he bends the front part into a curve like a semicircle. would wrapping the curve around a mug work or will the dishwasher ruin the frame no matter what?

i don't think that i would wash it in the dishwasher, i have seen the hat racks that you put the hat in and then wash it in the washing machine, it keeps the shape of the hat, plus you need to watch, if its a wool hat you shouldn't wash those at all.

How are they accurate to know where a tornado will touch down? Where can I buy the software?
Isn't the doppler radar on the news? How do they get 10 miles away or cloder to it?

You need to figure out some way to get internet while on the road, I use a broadband wireless card.

Once you have internet access, there's a great piece of software called SwiftWX. If you have a GPS receiver connected to your computer it will plot your position on a Doppler radar display which shows where the tornado or mesocyclone is supposed to be located, as well as how fast it is moving, where large hail is, etc. That being said, the radar updates only come about every 10 minutes, which means the storm may move a long ways during that time. When I was out chasing this spring the storms were moving about 50 miles/hour, so in 10 minutes they would move 8 miles. You need to anticipate where they will be with respect to you.

Nobody can tell you where a tornado will touch down, but the radar can tell you where the center of rotation is for a storm, and the goal is usually to be to the south or southeast of that point.

I need to restrict internet access to just a few websites at ~20 locations. The locations are retail stores that need internet access to HR websites and company websites, but I don't want them surfing the internet.
The stores have connections back to one point (a sonicwall firewall/router) which is where they gain their internet access. I would like to keep from having to travel to each store to change settings on each computer. Is there anyway we could limit internet access in this way.

Use your firewall to restrict them. How long have you been administrating this?

I have a Dell Inspiron 2500 hard drive and I want to make it a scondary drive on a Dell Dimension 2400. I tried using a Laptop to IDE Hard Drive Adapter however I can't seem to connect it to may laptop hard drive. There is another type of an adapter that is sold with mounting brackets should I buy that insted?
I need to extract files from my laptop hard drive and currently it doesn't work in my laptop. I just took it out.

I heard once, but on a rather old show that regular computers dont work in space because they are effected by cosmic rays and magnetism. So if thats the case what do they do to make them work? Is that why you dont see astronauts using laptops and blackberries?

I was told I had to have a license to go to a local automobile auction that they have once a month here locally in FL. I have been told that the prices the cars go for is thousands off what I can get anywhere else. I was thinking that I could get a car for myself (main reason for going through the process) but I also thought if they were cheap enough trying to flip them also. Thanks

I have 2 cats. A big fat black and white one named Ming Lee and a small little yellow one named Ling Lee. They both love to eat the plants when we're outside. Especially Ming Lee. I usually see Ming Le biting the plant. Like chewing it. I asked someone what is it for and they told me that's a cat's medicine. That means there taking there medicine. Is this true ?

Plants help cats vomit. If they're eating a lot of plants, they could be having a hairball issue.

Eating certain plants is good for them, it helps clean out their systems. Don't be to concerned if you find hairy, grassy puke afterwards.

However, some common plants are poisonous to cats, I believe the most common are Aloe Vera, Lillies, and Pointsettas.

You can try planting some special plants for the cats that they'll love: catgrass (some sort of oat, I believe, looks like regular grass - but grows super fast), catnip, and my cats love Mint.
