I’m 14 and I’m 4′6 and I weigh 68 pounds. I’m a competitive gymnast and fat is really not good so I need to lose weight. Some of the girls on my team use weight loss pills, and they say they work really well. Oh and also are they expensive? Do you need a prescription?
Exercise and diet aren't the problem. I train 6 hours a day and eat about 1300 calories.

Great question as most people get the wrong idea about weight loss pills. These pills can be dangerous if used in excess, however if used according to directions you can lose weight with little to no risk. Pills can be expensive, unless you know where to look. About a year ago I had trouble losing weight so I browsed online for solutions and came up with pills. I weighed my options and came up with a pill called Proactol. It’s cheap and effective. I’ve included a link in my sources.

Good luck!

I had a baby 4.5 months ago and am exclusively breastfeeding. Just recently my hair began to fall out big time and my weight has also been coming off more easily. I realize that the hair loss is normal, but I'm wondering if there is a correlation between the two. Perhaps the hair loss signals that the pregnancy hormones are out of our system which in turn lets our bodies know that we don't need the weight anymore. What do you think?

Yay! I'm so glad I can help you with this question! I have a 6 month old and I was constantly losing my hair in the shower. I was losing my mind over it so I called my ob… he told me that when you are pregnant, your body grows more hair and hair follicles to prepare for the baby. (one of many changes your body goes through, as you know) lol… so the hair that you are losing really isn't your "hair" as it is what grew in during those nine months. Remember that you were pumping TONS of iron and vitamins into your body, which promotes growth, not only of the baby, but of hair and other things in your own body. Also, keep in mind that if you are losing the weight, but still taking in a correct amount of nutrients and calories, you should be fine, talk to your ob about it, I hope that he or she can help you… but I wanted to tell you that I found this wonderful website that helped me through my post pregnancy "issues" and it helped me to gain my confidence back through weight loss and nutrition after I had my baby. I recommend it to everyone. It helped me get into shape and the woman who designed it is so helpful and kind… she helped me with a lot of questions that I was having and with a lot of "issues" that I was having because I could not lose my baby weight. It is absolutely phenomenal and it helps to know that there is a woman out there who can help with a REAL story and not just listening to these "fads" of weight loss. I hope this helps you, as we all want to look great and feel great after eating everything and being so big for 9 months! The website is: www.postpregnancyhealth.com

What is the average amount of weight loss per month for someone who hires a personal trainer for 4 days a week and has a meal plan made for them by the trainer? Just curious as to what the average person would lose in a month doing this.
Also curious as to losing inches, Do you lose more inches than weight? When working with a trainer
what is cheating?

Thats cheating but I'd assume 12 pounds per week approx…

EDIT - I meant month you thumb down whores

So let's say that someone is short (around 5'2"), someone else is taller (mediumish), and the last person is tallest (6'0").

If they all weigh the same, how many pounds of weight would it take to make the weight loss visible?

What other factors should be considered?

It all depends how much someone weighs to begin with, it doesn't really have anything to do with height. The bigger the person is, in terms of WEIGHT not height, then the more weight they have to loose for it to be noticeable. The thinner the person, the less weight there is to loose, the more noticeable. First signs of weight loss are generally in the face, but that's because that's the part one looks at the most and notices more.

Is walking one hour a day a good start for weight loss ? I’m trying to lose as much weight as possible I’m 6′2 and weigh 289…Are there any good weight lifting exercises I could do to go along with my workout ?

Walking one hour a day is a good exercise to start with. But whether you will lose weight and how fast you will lose weight depends on your calorie intake and how much you calorie you spend during walking.
