In India, Which Internet/data plan do you use for unlimited (No fixed MBs or Hours ) internet access ? it could be broadband or landline cdma or GPRS on PC.

Anyone knows about the various rates of companies like BSNL, Reliance etc ?
I mean, either you pay a fixed amount per month, or the plan be relatively cheaper per Hour or Per MB rate.

use BSNL 'netone' internet scheme, which the cheapest and easiest to avail. u need a BSNL fixed line phone & a dial-up modem and u can activate it yourself.

I have seen a great deal for laptop internet access. I wanted to use that at my business premises. I allow my staff to use the computer in breaks to surf the net and get emails etc. however, because I have a business phone line I realised when I saw my last bill that I am paying about 350 per year for this pleasure! I have found a deal where I can spend £5 a month and get a free dongle… would it work?

yes. just load the same software onto your desktop as you would the laptop
oh… and plug it into your usb port

I don't have a working phone line, and I need to access the internet. Isn't there some way I can connect to a wireless internet connection that people have in my area? I need the cheapest way to access the internet from home, NOT a laptop.
No I don't have a wireless adaptor. How much would it cost, I need something cheap.

Get a wireless card for your desktop and see if you can pick up any networks. If you live in an apt building, post a sign with the network names that you can pick up, and offer to pay some of their cost for allowing you to use their network.

Around 50$. Borrow one from a friend to look for networks before you go buy your own!
