U.S. officials are unable to communicate with a costly U.S. reconnaissance satellite for the military and intelligence communities launched last year, a defense official said on Thursday jan 19th. Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center For Astrophysics, said the satellite in question could be a classified NRO satellite launched into space on Dec. 14, 2006 from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
Is this a coincidence? Did China shoot down a U.S. spy satellite or an aging chinese weather satellite?

If someone lives in Lima, Peru what is the exact degree they would need to turn their satellite dish to be able to receive American channels? Please Help!!!

i'm not completely sure you will be able to get american tv channels in lima using satalite because it is at sea level, and most of the rest of peru is at such a high elevation, my suggestion is to try to get a jack to play tv through the internet onto a computer, that is a better bet, either that, or you can just enjoy the quality tv of peru where they have adult features starting at 7pm on every day =)

ps peru is the greatest place in the world, i went there last april and shat myself it was so awesome there
sorry but i liked cuzco better than lima =(

The fuel tank contained a toxic fuel that could potentially be of some danger to someone on the ground. That's the official story. Unofficially…..it's good practice to see how successful the military is at shooting a moving target out of space. That's where ICBM's travel. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out!

Barinov voiced Russian concerns that the U.S.A. has singlehandedly taken a decision which could affect all countries.
