Why considering the fact that people died did this recieve so much less coverage than the cruise ship in the Antarctic where every last passenger and crew member were rescued?

Kamran they kept banging on about how many brits were rescused from the antarctic ship.
Okay, you guys can't have it both ways. One day it's everyone moaning about how news is all death, doom and gloom, the next everyone and their Sprocket is harping on why good news is being reported over bad!?!

I am trying to find a cruise that goes across the antarctic circle. As cheap as possible?
Obviously I understand that any cruise will not be cheap but I have noticed that similar cruises can range right up to $10,000. We want a cruise that leaves from South America and crosses the antarctic circle and find the company that does it the cheapest
This link will take you to a specialized cruise site which has cruises leaving from South America but they are not cheap. I don't think that any cruise to / around Antarctica will be cheap.

I would contact some local travel agencys and work yourself in as a prefered vendor they can use.

if so, what did you think of it - which line did you go with (I'm thinking of Hurtigruten) - did you think it was value for money - was it as fantastic as it sounds? I'd love to have your opinion … thanks
Buenos Aires to the Falklands to Valpariso, Chile (with several others ports of call) on the Holland America Line MS Amsterdam in the Summer of 2004. It was great. I even swam around Cape Horn (really) - those of us willing to brave the cold jumped into the heated outdoor pool and swam as the ship rounded the Cape.
We were on the same ship from England, to Iceland to Copenhagen (with other ports of call) in July 2001, so we've been at both ends of the earth on the same ship.
Weather was terrific both trips. Remarkably calm on the 2004 trip, almost calm in the North Sea.
